1) Watch the game with him and be excited about it.
A woman that can watch her man’s favorite team and cheer along with him is something special to a guy. If you do your homework so that you know what’s going on in the game, prepare to reach goddess status. Most guys are nuts about their favorite sports team, and if you can share that with them you are bonding with your man on a special level. For a guy, a woman that can enjoy sports with him becomes more than just his girl, she becomes a friend he enjoys spending time with. For extra points, wear a jersey and really get into the fun.
2) Throw him a party and go all out.
Most guys don’t really think about birthday parties for themselves. What better way to give them a nice surprise then to plan a big birthday party and go all out. Invite their friends, get a bunch of beer (or whatever else they like to drink), get a bunch of great guy food, and plan some fun games to play. Sound corny? Maybe a little, but that’s a part of the charm. It’s usually something that a guy may not do for himself, but would love it if his wife put it together for him. Most importantly, the fact that you went through all the trouble for him will mean a lot. How many women do you know that have done that for their man? Exactly.
3) Let him bond with his boys.
It’s hard to explain the phenomenon that is male bonding, but there’s no doubt that it exists. Guys love to hang out with other guys, and sometimes that hard for women to understand at times. Mostly it’s just to be able to take a little break from their everyday routine, kick back with their friends, and not have to think about their responsibilities for a short period of time. By being understanding and letting your man go out for a night with his friends without complaining or nagging, you can really spark his appreciation. Not to mention, your man will probably reciprocate in the future and let you have a night with the girls.
4) Go to a guy movie and enjoy it.
Guys always have to sit through chick-flicks, so a great way to impress him is to take him to a guy movie and have a good time. It’s always nice when a woman can get excited (or at least pretend to be) about a nice action flick and take her guy out for a nice time. Pick up the tab as an added touch so that your man really knows it’s about him for that day.
5) Surprise him with his favorite meal.
There’s something special about a person who cooks for you. Granted, many women cook for their man all the time, and you might fall into that category. But for one night choose to make your man’s favorite meal and set up a nice table for two. Your man will appreciate the extra effort, and be impressed with the way that you cater to him.
There are a lot of ways you can show your guy he’s special to you, and these are just a few of those. The best ways to impress your guy involve getting interested in things that he likes, and making an effort to understand them better. Guys enjoy it when women can be “one of the guys” as wells as the woman that makes them swoon. If you can be a fun person that he enjoys being around as well as his woman he provides for, it will only make your bond with each other stronger.
